These photographs explore the unique relationship between photography and music. To make these portraits, I photograph at music festivals around the state of Pennsylvania each summer. At first glance it would appear that attending a music festival is a shared experience, however, these portraits reveal that listening to live music is also a deeply personal solo activity.
